Happy Birthday
Even though it’s belated.
My greatest fear was to be
weighted.
The body I created
from a magazine
guided me
right, tree pose fallen.
I couldn’t make a call
nothing could tell
what it is I am here to see.
Now a heavy
magnet being asked to hold
the acorn and the satchel.
What am I if not old fashioned elegance,
starting reflections?
Not only did you make me question my vision
of beauty,
you made me sit there
until I could see through it.
Yearning for belonging
freedom and containment.
Chasing the agile passion
requiring for every version of me.
Its physical but not for sex,
asking for empowered feminine.
The wisdom of the matriarch
rising from the paradox of wanting and letting go.
Light without restriction -is coming, its here!
Fire works, fire flies
and the fire breathing dragon:
‘Hold nothing back,
you’ll know when to go!
Be grateful for discomfort and
you’ll burn so hot even when the sun goes down
your whole sky will glow’
