I am an earth stream

I am a cosmic wind

I am an impulse in a blade of grass

I am not seen until you

know how to look

I am the sacred impact

of coming together

as if you knew how to

sweep me off my feet

you thought that move would work

and I thought I would see it coming

instead I had to breathe you in

one belly at a time

we jumped a

time line that day

free of addiction

my next life time flew in

and I stepped on the earth

reaching for nothing

except

each moment of the earth

takes root in me
